Alumni Band from Tigerland!!
Date Change!!! Things are up and running for this fall's reunion
event, now scheduled for the first game of the season, the Appalachian State
game on the weekend of August 29-30, 2008. If you're on the Alumni Band
mailing list, you'll receive updated information on the weekend. Everything
is set up through the Alumni Association with Charlie Roberts and his staff.
Coordinator for this year's event is Jason Ramezan. Until then, you can
contact Jason for mailing information at 225-578-3838, or you can email
him (Jason Ramezan). Any instrument
needs will need to go through Jason this year. He will forward the information
on to us. We'll provide what we can in the way of instruments, music, flips,
and getting you on and off the field!
Also, this fall will be the 50th line of the LSU Golden Girls...formed in
1959, their 50th anniversary season is fall 2009!

Friday, August 29th (Schedule subject to change)
6:30 - 7:00 pm -- Registration--Lod Cook Alumni Center
7:00 PM -- Social and Dance--Lod Cook Alumni Center
Saturday, August 30st (Schedule subject to change)
8:00 - 9:00 am -- Breakfast-Lod Cook Alumni Center
9:45 am -- Registration at Indoor Football Facility
10:00 am -- Auxiliaries Rehearse (Golden Girls, Tigerettes, Colorguard)
10:30 am - 12:00 noon -- Full Alumni Band Rehearsal-Indoor Football Facility
12:00 - 12:50 PM -- Tiger Band and Alumni Band Rehearse together
1:00 - 1:30 PM -- Lunch Break-Indoor Football Facility (Ticket required)
1:30 PM -- BREAK!
4:30 PM -- Tailgate Party and Tiger Band Performance--LSU PMAC (Ticket required)
7:00 PM -- Kick-off - LSU vs Appalachian State
The combined show format this year will be:
- Opener (Tiger Band)
- Golden Girls and Colorguard feature (Tiger Band)
- Coda Fight (Alumni Band marched onto field)
- Hey, Fightin' Tigers (Alumni Band)
- Pregame/Touchdown for LSU (Both Bands)
For this year's 2008 event:
Golden Girls, Tigerettes, Flags/Colorguard . . . Expect to perform to the
usual songs (Coda Fight; Hey, Fightin' Tigers and Pregame/Touchdown
for LSU). With the school songs, we can send you a DVD of the Tigerette,
Golden Girl or Flag routines. Please email Steve
