First Annual LSU Conductors’ Symposium and Workshop
February 15th-16th, 2013
We hope that you will consider joining us for the First Annual LSU Conductors’ Symposium and Workshop! There will be space for fifteen participants to conduct the LSU Wind Ensemble or Symphonic Winds. Space is available on a first come basis and the registration process will be available through the LSU band website in late December (www.bands.lsu.edu). An unlimited number of auditors will be able to attend the workshop (pre-registration is still required). For both participants and auditors, there is no cost associated with the symposium, however each participant is responsible for their own travel, hotel, and food expenses.
Once the registration process begins, you will be contacted via email to verify the work and any movements that you wish to conduct. We are in the process of scheduling discounted rates with local hotel and dining establishments and the information will be updated on the LSU band website. If you have any further questions about the event, please contact Drew Dickey, LSU Department of Bands Graduate Assistant, via e-mail at cdick21@campus.lsu.edu.
