Welcome to the Official Web Site of the LSU Bands!
|
Thank you for your interest in the LSU Bands. With a long
history
of success, the Band program at LSU offers many types of
opportunities and ensembles
for students to continue playing their instruments while in
college. Not only does participation in a college ensemble
build instant friendships, but one can also pursue an interest
of the heart while earning college credit. As you pursue your
career goals as a student at LSU, we hope that you will want
to experience a truly special musical tradition. We are very
proud of our program and we strongly believe in the educational
and social values that band offers. You do not have to be
a music major to participate in the LSU Bands. 80% of Tiger
Band is comprised of non-music majors. Note: Full tuition
scholarships are available to non-music majors who live outside
of Louisiana (Tiger Band Golden Oaks Scholarship).
